Background

Tim is an Atlanta-based Compositor, After Effects Animator, and Game Designer. Born and raised in Baltimore, he graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a BFA in Visual Arts and a Minor in Art History. He went on to receive a MFA in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design. He has worked in the film and television industries for over 18 years. He most recently worked as Compositing Director on season 2 of Hit-Monkey on Hulu.


Since entering the industry, Tim has had professional roles as an After Effects Animator, Compositor in multiple software platforms, Game Designer, and Comedy Writer. He has worked solo, on large teams, and has managed teams of dozens of artists on fast-paced productions.


In addition to his professional work, Tim was internet famous for about 10 minutes thanks to a viral cartoon at SCAD. That cartoon led to a few film festival awards and a series of animated eCards on JibJab as part of a special artist collaboration for their Sendables line. Tim also enjoys barebow archery and reading shlocky horror and sci-fi novels.
